La Peyre is an 18th century cottage and barn that has been newly transformed into a longière. Situated in a small hamlet it has a small front garden/car parking and a separate garden across the lane with a BBQ area that overlooks fields.

The cottage is 3kms from the market town Thiviers which has bars, restaurants, bakers, butchers, two banks and three supermarkets.

Thiviers is half way between Périgueux and Limoges.
